14 years ago. Save. Although the no-see-ums are unpredictable, the mosquitoes are easier to avoid. In general, February and March and early April are reliably the driest months, and the most mosquito free. Location has a lot to do with no-see-um exposure.

You'll just be limited in being able to use some of the side of the road parking where the drop offs can be significant. I keep a day's worth with me for walking around money and the rest in the safe. Credit cards are accepted at more places these days, but some do not accept AmEx.

5. Re: Health of the coral reefs in St. John USVI. Theres been much degradation but St John underwater world almost definitely remains above average without getting into SCUBA destinations. All the reefs, worldwide, are dying. Enjoy what's remaining and please do what you can to protect our natural splendor.
