4. Apr 4, 2014. #4. Fluorocarbon is a good tippet material for nymphing and streamer fishing. I use mono for dry flies. Frog Hair makes some really good tippet materials for dry fly fishing. Dedicated tippet materials are more supple than lines made to be used for main line. Hope this is useful.
