in MO2 it only takes a few seconds for it to check my 325 mod list.. if it finds something updated it will show little icon next to it.. but yea like ABXYGamer said it also will not update any mods manually added only mods you downloaded and installed directly from within Vortex.. if you can find something specific that was updated then you'd know for sure at least
