You need to also update tinfoil. You have to delete the tinfoil folder on the SD card I think under switch and unistall the foardwarder (icon) on the switch and the reinstall from the home brew menu it useing the self installer it will re add the icon. I updated my switch along with sigpatches and such, but now tinfoil does not open. I am presented with "Unable to start software.
